Celebration in a Jar!

So, while I didn't get a chance to play in my crafty area yesterday, I did get some time this morning.  :-). I actually got two cards made.  So, I'll probably do another post a little later today for that one.  This first card came about by an idea that popped into my head about how to use the big circle with "bubbles" from the Party Dots set from Neat and Tangled.  I just got some stamps from them and I was so excited to try them out!  Take a look at my card...

So, I stamped the circle in a few different colours (Fresh Green, Moss Green, and Celadon pigment ink, all by Color Box).  I then stamped my jar (Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection by American Crafts) on top of the stamped circle placing it to look like a bubbly liquid was inside the jar.  I used Jet Black StazOn ink.  Then I fussy cut it out.  I stamped my banner and sentiment (also from the Party Dots set by Neat and Tangled) in black and fussy cut it out.  I coloured the lids of my jars with Spectrum Noir markers (BGR1, BGR3, Blender) and then attached my jars to a white card base.  I adhered my banner using some foam dots.  I'm quite pleased with how this turned out.  :-)
