Hello! We've got a fun little hop going on over at STAMPlorations right now. We've got some new CUTplorations dies to showcase and so we're doing a little mini release hop. Take a look at these fantastic new dies...
Awesome, right?! I just love the edge dies. The atc/tag dies are great and so versatile with all the fancy edges you can use. Today I've made a card and a couple of tags. Check them out...
For my cards, I used the film strip edge die. I die cut a narrow strip of white card stock on both sides and then stamped my reindeer (Reindeer Games set) where I wanted them. I then masked off rectangular areas and sponged on black ink to create my film strip. I removed the masks and then coloured in my reindeer with my Spectrum Noir markers. I stamped the sentiment (Holiday Sketches: Christmas Bells set) in the middle section and stamped a small snowflake (Vignette: Christmas Block set) in silver. I took a piece of patterned paper and attached it to my card base and then attached my film strip. Lastly, I added a couple of pieces of red glitter tape.
For my first tag, I used one of the fancy edge pieces to die cut the top and bottom of my tag. I also used one of the hole dies. I stamped my mittens (Warm Hands Warm Hearts set) and then created masks to cover them. Then I stamped my heart (Funny Kinda Love set) and removed the masks. I coloured everything in with my Spectrum Noir markers. I stamped the sentiment in black then added some very narrow strips of silver glitter tape. Lastly I added some ribbon.
For this tag, I used two different edge pieces to die cut my tag also using one of the hole dies. I stamped my poinsettia (Christmas Bell Medley set) and embossed in white. I sponged on Hero Art Pool ink over top fading it as I went up. Then I stamped my pine bough (Christmas Bell Medley set) using the Pool ink. I stamped the sentiment (Christmas Bell Medley set) in Dove Gray StazOn ink and added some ribbon.
So, I hope you'll pop on by the main blog and see what everyone has made with these fabulous dies. Plus, by commenting there and the DT blogs you have a chance to win a prize!
