Hey everyone! Today is the start of a special blog hop going on over at STAMPlorations. It's a TAGplorations hop and we are celebrating love. Rather appropriate with Valentine's Day coming up. We are showcasing our tag making skills and showing off some new love themed products.
The hop is from today until the 14th. There are lots of ways to win prizes and lots of inspiration projects too! There's even a Linky where you can link up projects you want to make and share. Today I've made a tag using some of these new products. It's not quite my usual CAS style but I love how it turned out and sometimes you need to work outside your comfort zone. Check it out....
I die cut my tag shape and then using my big heart stencil (Doodled Heart stencil), sponged on Victorian Velvet, Tea Dye Distress Ink and Rich Razzleberry SU! ink. You don't see the full heart but it creates a nice background. I stamped the first part of my sentiment (Funny Kinda Love set, I masked the "I" out) in Rich Razzleberry. I die cut the last part of the sentiment (Forever Word die) from white cardstock and inked it up with Delicata Golden Glitz ink (I only did this because I still don't have any gold paper) and attached it to my card. I adhered 3 paper roses (Michaels) and added some laser cut chipboard leaves. I added some gold glitter enamel dots (Happy Little Stampers). Lastly, I attached some ribbon.
So, please join us on this lovey dovey hop! Make sure to check out what the other STAMP girls have made too. Have a lover-ly day and thanks for stopping by! ❤️๐๐๐๐
