Good morning! On this muggy day I thought I might share a card that makes you think about colder days. Yep, it's a Christmas card. It was made with a few challenges in mind. I'll share those at the end of the post. Here's my card...
So, I decided to go with a mostly kraft card again. I stamped the sentiment (by Prickly Pear) and embossed in white. Then I stamped my flourishes (Inkadinkado) and snowflakes (Recollections) and also embossed in white. I was trying to make it seem like Frosty just took off in a cloud of snowy dust. :-). Lastly, I attached my kraft panel to a white card base with foam dots.it's simple but I think it's kind of fun. :-)
Here's the challenges I'm linking up to:
Festive Friday - Love the inspiration photo this time around! I was inspired by the brown of the basket and pine cones and the white. All that white made me think of snow.
Christmas Cards all Year Long - make a card in non traditional colours
Less is More - anything goes
Well, hope you all have a super day and thanks for stopping by! :-)
Love embossed white on kraft and the mix of flourishes with snowflakes is funky x

Hi Kim!! Thank you for visiting me!! This is a very Cute n' Simple creation. Love how that white stands out on the kraft cardstock. I should use it more often!! Aloha, Jen
ReplyDeleteYour card is brilliant...so much fun and perfect timing - on a hot muggy day - to be thinking of Frosty (actually, you have me thinking of the snowman from Frozen who wants to experience summer....too funny!). Paper Crafting Challenge is having a 'kraft' theme this week, so run this sweet card over there asap...
