Hi everyone! I know, I know! Another card to share! I managed to get some time in my craft room and I got a bunch of cards done. :-). This card came about for a few different reasons. One, well I needed to make a card for my Christmas stash. Two, my friend and fellow Ink teammate, Sandie, ever so nicely asked me and some others to play along in a challenge for a stamp company blog that she's now on the team. Of course I was happy to oblige. Three, there were some other challenges I wanted to join in on. :-). So here's my card....
I printed off my free digital image (Uniko Studio) of my poinsettia circle and coloured it with my Spectrum Noir markers (DR1, DR5, DR7, CG1, DG2, DG4, blender). Once that was done I noticed that the sentiment had kind of faded and was hard to see so I traced the letters with a black fine tip marker. I didn't change how the letters looked at all just made them stand out a bit more. I added gold in the middle of the flower and around the circle border with a fine tip permanent pen. Then I fussy cut it out and adhered it to a snowflake I had die cut using my Slice. I attached this to a panel of woodgrain paper which was attached to my white card base. I'm loving how this turned out.
I'm playing along with the following challenges:
Winter Wonderland challenge blog - "let's be sentimental" have a sentiment on your card. Mine is small but it's there! :-)
STAMPlorations - Novembers monthly challenge is stamps and layers
Uniko Studio - it's anything goes with an option to use the sketch. I decided to use the sketch. There's some new rules too! You don't have to use Uniko stamps to play. But if you do, you can win a great prize! :-). Hope you'll join in on the fun!
Addicted To Stamps and More - make your mark.
Spectrum Noir Monthly Challenge - November's challenge is Christmas/Winter
