Hello all my fellow cardmakers! It's that time again, over at Inkspirational
, for another challenge! This time we've got a cool inspiration picture for you. Check it out...
Isn't it neat? I love all those fabulous eggs! I decided that I wanted to make some eggs of my own that looked like that. Here's my card...
I cut three different sized small ovals for my eggs. I sponged them in the following colours: Mellow Moss (SU!), Sea Glass (SSS), and Soft Suede (SU!). Then I splattered them with watered down ink in the following colours: Walnut Stain distress ink, Gray Flannel and Tuxedo Black (Memento). Then I took some of the watered down black and randomly painted areas with a brush. I took a white panel and watercoloured Broken China distress ink on it then splattered some Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls mist. Once dry, I attached my eggs. Then I took some green cardstock and cut strips and glued them around my eggs to mimic grass. Then I stamped my sentiment (Paper Smooches) in black. Lastly, I attached my panel to my card base with foam dots. I just love how the eggs turned out. So easy to create too.
I hope you'll join us in the cool challenge over at Ink
. Check out the other DT members projects as well. They are all awesome! We have a super cool guest designer this challenge too. Please go visit, Bozena over at Art Card Box
, and leave her some love. :-)
I'd like to link up to the following challenges:
Addicted to Stamps and More
- the challenge is clean and simple.
- use Easter Colours. I don't have all the colours that are in the picture but some are there.
