STAMPlorations Inspiration #82

Hey everyone!  It's Tuesday and that means it time for a new Inspiration post over at STAMPlorations!  Today I've got that probably would have been easier to make if I had a Misti. But, I do not so I did it all by eye.  It turned out pretty good I think. I did mess it up once and had to start over but that was my colouring not the stamping. :-).  Anyway, take a look....

So, once I finished stamping all the hellos (Big Greetings set) in black Versamark I masked off the bottom one and sponged a bit of Teal Zeal Memento ink on the bottom.  I removed the mask and coloured in the bottom hello with my Spectrum Noir markers. I used DR3 and then the blender to fade it out.  I also added some faux texture by dotting over the red with the blender pen.  I added a strip of washi tape (Recollections) and then stamp the rest of the sentiment (Big Greetings set).

Don't forget to go see all the other wonderful projects by the rest of the DT over at the main blog.  Leave a comment there for a chance to win a prize too!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

  1. Wow... fabulous that you did this by eye...very striking card x

  2. Great design and SO WELL EXECUTED, Kim.

  3. WOW! You did a fantastic job without a Misti...awesome alignment, my friend! The pops of colour and the washi = coolness!

  4. Whoa - nice straight "eye" you have -- me, not.so.much. This is amazing looking!

  5. I already was swooning over that card on the DT blog - definitely on my list of favorite cards from you! Obviously you don't need a Misti...

Thanks for leaving me your comments. I really appreciate them!
