STAMPlorations Inspiration #120

Hi everyone!  So sorry, I'm late with this post!  My son is sick with a fever and bad cough and I have developed a cough as well.  Hoping it'll pass soon. It's been a crappy year of colds so far.  This will be the third time we've both been sick this year!  This is really not usual.  But the weather has been really weird this winter so I'm just going to blame that!  LOL.

Anyway, it's time for another inspiration post over at STAMPlorations!  This week we are showcasing our fabulous STAMP girl, Deepti's stamps.  I love her wonderful images. Such variety and versatility. Here's my card....

I took the balloon stamp (Balloons and Banners set) and stamped several times in versamark ink.  Then I embossed them in white.  I then took my Distress inks (Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Broken China, and Seedless Preserves) and sponged them on overtop my balloons in a rainbow of colour.  I then splattered it with some water.  I stamped the sentiment (from same set) in black.  It's quick and CAS but quite fun with the rainbow of colours.

Well, I hope you pop on over to the main blog and check out what the rest of the amazing DT made.  Leave a comment here and there and be entered for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the STAMPlorations store!

Have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!
