Have a Rockin' Birthday.

Hi!  Don't you hate making cards for the men in your life.  Some of them are just so hard to do.  It's my brother-in-laws birthday next week so I needed a card that was "cool".  I decided to create in a CAS style since I've been trending that way anyway.  I think he'll like it.

I used some circle like stamps and a cool mini "rock on" border stamp to create the patterned strip.  Sponged some black ink very lightly over top it all.  Cut some black paper with a v cut in one end and added a chevron brad.  Cut another strip of white paper and stamped sentiment and attached both to card.  Voila!  I am really digging the colours I used.  Think it looks pretty masculine.

Well, that's all for now.  Have a fabulous day!

Supplies:  stamps:  (sentiment) Kolette Hall, (circles) Stampology, (rock on border) Studio G, ink: (black, grey) StazOn, (blue/gray, green) Studio G, paper:  (black, white) Recollections,  chevron brad by Dear Lizzy Neopolitan collection.

  1. You did a great job on this masculine B-day card, Kim! I especially like the sentiment on the sides of your stamped strip and the off-set of the banner sentiment! Have a great day, Cornelia

  2. I love the images and color combo, Kim! Great masculine card.

  3. Beautiful card! Just wanted to stop by and say welcome to the team:) I look forward to seeing more of your fabulous creations and am a new follower.
