One in a Million Dad

I made this card for my husband and he certainly is one in a million.  That's what it says on the inside of the card which ties (no pun intended) into the one plaid tie versus the other plain ones.  He's a great father.  He's kind, and fun and he's not afraid to show our son how much he loves him.  :-)  Can't get better than that.

I got the idea for this card from the current Fusion challenge going on.

I loved the sketch and there was something about those plaid ties.  So, I actually tied some ribbon just like you would a real tie and made some mini ones!  The ties are matted with some dark green but in the picture it looks black.  Oh well.  I'm sure you all will believe me.  LOL.  The sentiment is by SU!.  Here's a detailed look at the ties.

Hope you all had a great weekend!

  4. LOL, Kim, this is really funny we did the similar cards, but this sketch + ties couldn't be another. I like that you made the ties of ribbons, it gives even more 'real' look to this card.
