Another Tinfoil Card

Hello everyone!  Today I have a card to share where I used tinfoil again. This time a little bit differently.  I still wrapped it around some cardstock but rather than embossing it I played around with my Spectrum Noir markers on it.  Check it out....

So, when you colour on the tinfoil then introduce the blender ink the coloured ink reacts very interestingly.  Some places I just touched my blender marker to and others I dropped ink from the dropper from the refill bottle.  I took my coloured markers and touched them to the blender areas and neat things happened as well.  It was fun to play around with.  I like how the metal from the tinfoil still shows through.  Once it dried I attached my panel to my white card base then added a strip with my sentiment raised up with some foam dots.  It's pretty simple as I wanted the inked panel to be the star of the show.  :-). I'll be playing around with tinfoil some more in the future for sure.  Too much fun not to.  :-)

I'm going to link up to the following challenges:

Virginia's View Challenge - all things metallic

Well, I hope you all have a fantastic day and thanks for stopping by!

  13. WOW, Kim...this is gorgeous! Darnell compared it to jewelry (I totally agree) and my two bits' worth: it looks like the inside of gemstones, which we often see on display in various stores here and in Banff. So incredibly pretty. Tutorial, please! I want to see the nitty-gritty in full detail!
