One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #8

Greetings everyone!  Sorry I haven't been around much. I've been trying to get over a nasty chest cold.  I was actually afraid it was something worse and even went to the doctor but it was just a really nasty virus.  I still have a bit of a cough but it's getting better.  Anyway, I digress.  It's that time again for another challenge over at One Layer Christmas Card Challenges.  We've got a great (optional, as per usual) twist this time for you.  Trees!

So many fun possibilities!  I actually had a hard time choosing what stamp to use.  I've got quite a few awesome ones with trees.  I like tree stamps.  :-). In the end I chose two, one old, one new.  Check it out...

I took my kraft card base and stamped my tree stamps (both by Inkadinkado) in Grey Flannel Memento ink, sometimes stamping without re-inking to get a lighter look.  Then I used the falling snow stencil (SSS) and used some textured snow like you would embossing paste.  It has glitter in it but it's pretty subtle in real life so no way I could capture it in the photo.  :-). Then I added a strip of glitter tape (Darice).  I stamped the sentiment (Michaels) in Grey Flannel as well.

I hope you'll join in and try your hand at a one layer card.  Need some inspiration?  Check out the OLCCC Design Teams cards.  All are outstanding and sure to get your creative juices flowing!

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a lovely day!

I'm linking up to the following challenges:
