Hey there! Great news! No chicken pox for Donovan! Just some sort of benign bumps. They are are almost gone now and never even got itchy so probably not even a bug bite of some kind. Anyway, I'm just glad it wasn't chicken pox. :-)
Now, onto to today's post! Its the first of April and you know what that means? April Fools Day, yes, but also it's the start of a new CASEplorations over at STAMPlorations! Who are we CASEing this time? It's the lovely and talented, Donna Mikasa! Check out the card we got to CASE...
Isn't it just amazing? I had a good long think about what I wanted to do and after much brainstorming this is what I came up with....
I stamped my feathers (Trendy Feathers set) in Versamark ink and embossed in white on watercolour paper. Then I watercoloured a rainbow over the feathers fading the colours out. I splattered some black ink over top. I stamped sentiment (Balloons and Banners set) on a black strip of cardstock and embossed it in white. Then, I attached it to my card with some foam dots. I had a blast CASEing Donna's card! :-)
I hope you'll come on over the to main blog and check out the other DT's CASEs. Remember, you have a chance at winning a prize if you comment on the main blog.
Thanks for dropping by and I hope you enjoy your weekend!
I'd like to link up to the following challenges:
Addicted to Stamp and More - make you mark (I used my Spectrum Aqua markers for the watercolouring)
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - anything goes
Sunday Stamps Weekly Challenge - Rainbow
