Well, it's a sunny day here but cold. We've dropped below freezing again for a few days but we'll be warming up again soon. It's nice to see the sun out even if it's chilly. :-)
So, it's Tuesday and that means it's time for another Inspiration post over at STAMPlorations! Lately, I've been trying to use coloured card stock as my card base instead of white. I still use white A LOT but its been fun to try different colours. For today's card I used a light teal colour. Take a look...
I stamped my butterflies (Winged Things set) with Versamark ink and embossed them in white. I did the same for the sentiment (Big Greetings set). I coloured in a couple of the butterflies and the "note" part of the sentiment using my Spectrum Noir markers. I filled in a couple of the other butterflies with Wink of Stella. I used WoS on the sentiment as well. You can see the sparkle better in the detail photo. It was a simple card to make but it turned out quite pretty, I think.
Well, I hope you'll all pop on over to the main blog and check out all the fabulous projects the DT has made. Thanks for visiting and have a lovely day!
