ARTplorations Stencil Blog Hop Day 2

Happy Thursday everyone.  Today is the second day of our ARTplorations stencil hop!  Yay!  We STAMP girls have created some amazing projects using the fabulous stencils Shery designs.

The hop runs from the 14th until the 20th. Everyday you will get to see some lovely projects.  Today my card features another new stencil that I just love.  Check it out...

I took my stencil (Circular 2) and sponged on Hero Arts ombre ink Butter to Orange  I stamped the sentiment on a narrow white strip of cardstock and adhered it to my card with foam dots.  I stamped and die cut my elephant (Tweet Love set and Coordinating Dies) and then coloured it in with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I attached it to my card with some foam dots as well.  That elephant is so cute and I just adore the background!

I do hope you'll join us and pop on over to the blog to see everyone's lovely work.  As usual there's prizes to be won!  All the details are at the main blog.

Have a fantastic day and thanks for stopping by!

ARTplorations Stencil Blog Hop Day 1

Hey everyone!  It's an exciting day over at STAMPlorations!  Today is the first day of our ARTplorations stencil hop!  Yippee!  We STAMP girls have created some amazing projects using the fabulous stencils Shery designs.

The hop runs from today until the 20th. Everyday you will get to see some lovely projects.  Today my card features a new stencil that I think is just gorgeous.  Check it out...

I took the stencil (Peony Number Two) and sponged the following Distress inks over it: Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry, and Seedless Preserves.  Once I had the colours blended the way I wanted, I splattered some water over top to create water droplets and then spritzed some Perfect Pearls Heirloom Gold mist.  I removed the stencil and stamped my sentiment (Trendy Feathers 2 set) in black on a narrow strip of white cardstock which I matted with some black cardstock. Then I attached it to my card. I just love this big and beautiful flower, don't you?

I do hope you'll join us and pop on over to the blog to see everyone's lovely work.  As usual there's prizes to be won!  All the details are at the main blog.

Have a fantastic day and thanks for stopping by!

STAMPlorations Inspiration #110

Greetings everyone! Another Tuesday has rolled around and so its time for another inspiration post over at STAMPlorations!!  Christmas is getting closer and closer and I'm so NOT ready!  It's been crazy here with craft fairs and renovations and starting a new job.  I work for one of those paint night party companies (East Coast Art Party) and teach people how to paint a picture while they drink, eat and be merry!  It's a lot of fun but it's been hard juggling everything. Thank goodness that the craft fairs are over and the living room is very close to being complete.  I need a break!  ðŸ˜Š Anyway, back to the card inspiration!  Take a look....

I stamped my buttercups (Buttercups and Butterflies set) several times and then coloured them in with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I stamped the sentiment (from same set) in black.  A very simple and easy card to create but I think it turned out lovely.

I hope that you'll go check out the rest of the DT's work and don't forget to comment for a chance to win a prize!

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely Tuesday!

STAMPlorations Inspiration #109

Hi everyone!  It's Tuesday and you know what that means?  Yep!  Another Inspiration post over at STAMPlorations!  Today we've got a post jammed packed with inspiration.  I've got another Christmas card to share. Take a look....

I played around with some alcohol ink on glossy paper to create my background. Once it was fully dry I stamped my poinsettia (Holiday Sketches: Christmas Flower set) and embossed it in white. I die cut my sentiment (Warm Winter Wishes Phrase Die) and adhered it to my panel. Lastly, I attached my panel to a white card base.

Well, I hope you go on over to the main blog and check out the other fab DT projects.  Don't forget to comment there for a chance to win a prize too!

Thanks for visiting with me and I hope you all have a fabulous day!

CUTplorations December Challenge

Hey there!  Over at STAMPlorations we've got a new CUTplorations challenge starting for November.  It's time to pull your dies out again and wow us!  We have an inspiration photo to inspire you and all you have to do is make something using a die cut and link up.  It's not necessary to use STAMPlorations dies but we love it when you do!  Just be sure to use at least one STAMPlorations product on your card.  So, if you don't have any of our dies use one of our stamps. 😊 Check out this months inspiration photo....

Isn't it an adorable image?  I love the colour scheme.   That and the winter theme were my inspiration.  Here's my card....

I started off by attaching some teal glitter tape I'd trimmed and some red striped washi tape. Then I stamped my mittens (Warm Hands, Warm Hearts set) in Memento Teal Zeal ink.  I added some more of the same glitter and washi tape.  I die cut my sentiment (Warm Winter Wishes Phrase Die) and coloured the 'warm' and 'wishes' with my Spectrum Noir markers. I really love this colour combo.

I hope you'll all join us for this months challenge.  As always there is a prize to be won if you link up! All the prize details can be found at the main blog.

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!

Inkspirational Challenge - Designer's Choice

Hey everyone! This weekend we are taking a little day trip to the US to do a little shopping.  I've got a busy week ahead of me as I've got one last Christmas craft fair to do and I'm also trying to finish painting my living room and install the flooring. Whew!  I'm tired already!  ðŸ˜€

Anyway, it's time for another challenge over at Inkspirational!  This time our awesome teammate, Sandie, had the honor of picking what the challenge would be.  She chose "CAS with Sparkle".

Yay! That's right up my alley! 😀  Here's my card....

I stamped my wreath (Penny Black) mixing two green Memento inks, Cottage Ivy and Bamboo Leaves.  I coloured in some of the berries with a red metallic pen. I die cut the first part of the sentiment (STAMPlorations) from gold metallic paper. After attaching it to my card I stamped the rest of the sentiment (Hero Arts) in black.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today. Please, make sure to go and check out what the rest of the team made as well as our wonderful Guest Designer.  There are some wonderful cards to look at!

Have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Lastly, I added some gold glitter enamel dots (Happy Litlle Stampers).
