Vellum Poinsettia

Just sharing another Christmas card today and linking it up to a couple of challenges.  I'm going to enter it into Addicted to Stamps and More's challenge, Make Your Mark.  Need to colour something with markers, pencils or whatever.  Also, linking up to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge which is Christmas/Holidays.

**Update**. I'm linking this up to Moxie Fab World's Colour Media Challenge.

I love this poinsettia stamp.  This time I stamped it on vellum and embossed in white.  Then I coloured it in using my Spectrum Noir markers.  Next, I fussy cut it out and added some gold glitter to the center of the flower.  I made a card base from beige cardstock and cut and a panel of ivory wood grain paper and then layered that on white.  I cut some ribbon and attached to card layering it.  Then I attached the poinsettia with some strategically placed foam dots.  I think it turned out pretty good.  :-)

Well, that's all for now.  Thanks for visiting and have a lovely day!

Supplies used:   Cardstock - (beige, white) Recollections.  Patterned Paper - (wood grain from Tradewinds 12 x 12 pad) DCWV.  Specialty Paper - (vellum) Recollections.  Embossing powder - (white)  Hero Arts.  Fibers - (brown 5/8" satin ribbon) Offray, (gold sheer patterned ribbon) Michaels.  Color Medium - (alcohol markers) Spectrum Noir.  Accents - (gold glitter) Elmer's.

  1. Simply amazing, what you did with this Poinsettia stamp - I keep looking at your card - stunning! It looks like a winner to me! I think its the same stamp that I offer as a blog candy....By the way, if you want to be part of the give-away you have to link the candy in your side bar - sorry, one of my requirements...

    1. Thanks Cornelia! And thanks for reminding me about the giveaway on my sidebar. I had forgotten! :-). Yes, it is the same stamp as your giveaway and it's funny the other stamp set you are offering with it is one I have too. :-)
