Welcome New Followers!

Well, tomorrow is the end of the month so it's that time again to welcome any new followers I may have gained.  Happily I have two new ones!  :-). The pleasure at seeing a new follower never gets old.  :-).

Without further adieu, let me welcome Lynne Platt and Choc312002.  I'm sorry I couldn't find out if you have blogs or not.  In any case, thanks for joining and I hope you enjoy what I have to share!

So, today I'm going to share a card I made for a submissions call that didn't get picked up.  I used a Hero Arts stamp I won recently for this card.  Not sure who I would ever give this to but I still like it.

I stamped the skyline (HA H5470 International Skyline) in black on red cardstock and cut in a strip.  I cut more strips out of orange, yellow, green, and blue cardstock.  I used my Slice die cutting machine to cut the words and used a whole punch to make the crescent moon.  Then I mounted everything on a black card base.

I'm going to link this up to two challenges.  First is CAS-ology where their cue card is black.  The second one is Addicted to Stamps and More where the challenge is Clean and Simple.  You don't have to have white to be CAS.  :-)

Anyway, thanks for visiting and I hope you all have a terrific Halloween tomorrow!

  1. I like it too - that big scale rainbow with the black silhouettes is really fun and dramatic - cute little moon, reminding us that we're all here on the same planet, together! Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week!
