Out of This World Birthday

Today I have a card to share that I made for a friend's son for his birthday.  We attended his 3rd birthday party this weekend.  I love making little boy cards.  They are loads of fun.  Anyway, here it is...

I used stamps from a set that I "think" is by Inkadinkado.  It's really a great little boy set.  Robots, animals, rocket ships, cars, boats.  Tons of great stamps in a super cute style.  Anyway, all I did was stamp the sentiment first which was made up out of two different stamps.  Both are from the same set from Scrappy cat.  I then took some white foam Thickers and colored them blue and made the little boy's name.  Then I stamped my boy stamps in black all around the edges.  I decided to colour just the robot image.  I used my Spectrum Noir markers.  (BGR1, BGR3, DR2, IB3, BT8, True Black, Blender)  I attached my panel to a bright blue card base.

I think it turned out very cute.  :-)

I'm going to link this up to Seize the Birthday challenge but with no "toppings" this time (which was hearts I believe).  Also going to link up to Spectrum Noir challenge where they want a masculine card.

Well, that's all for this card.  I've got another one to share but that will be a separate post.  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. This is a fun boy card! Love how you personalized it with his name popped up! And the robot is adorable (and masterfully colored!)

  2. VERY CUTE indeed!!! I love it! Another great one!

  3. Oh, I love this! How cute is that little robot! Thanks for joining us at Seize the Birthday!

  4. Sweet and lovely. There is a lot of your heart in this card I guess so this is perfect for this week's toppings :-)
Thank you for sharing your card with us at Seize the Birthday.
