STAMPlorations Inspiration #111

Good morning everyone!  I hope this Tuesday finds you all well. 😀  How was your Christmas?  Mine was just lovely.  My son's excitement and happiness was very contagious!  😊

Anyway, it's that time again for a new inspiration post over at STAMPlorations!  I'm starting to take a break from Christmas cards.  I'll start making them again in the new year but I think I need a little break.  So, today I've got a birthday card. Take a look......

I took my sentiment/balloon stamp (Power of Words set) and stamped it in black Memento ink.  Then I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color it in.  Next I took some long neglected washi tape and added a few strips.  The colours I coloured my stamp match the colours of the tape. (I did that on purpose!).   Easy peasy card!

Well, I hope that you'll go check out the rest of the DT's work and don't forget to comment for a chance to win a prize!

Have an awesome day and thanks for popping by!

  1. This is so fun! Love your colors and CAS card!!

  2. Fun card with fun colours x

  3. Gorgeous and fun card!! I love the use of washi tapes.

  4. Fun striped bottom border

  5. Totally understand - I need a break from Christmas cards, too! Love those colorful stripes!

  6. Such a great idea to use that washi in connection with that stamped image. Fun. Cheerful. Hope your 2017 will be too, teamie!

  7. Love the march of colors in the
    stripes. Seldom use washi but
    projects like yours makes me
realize I should use it more.
    Great card.
    thanks for sharing
