STAMPlorations Inspiration #111

Good morning everyone!  I hope this Tuesday finds you all well. 😀  How was your Christmas?  Mine was just lovely.  My son's excitement and happiness was very contagious!  😊

Anyway, it's that time again for a new inspiration post over at STAMPlorations!  I'm starting to take a break from Christmas cards.  I'll start making them again in the new year but I think I need a little break.  So, today I've got a birthday card. Take a look......

I took my sentiment/balloon stamp (Power of Words set) and stamped it in black Memento ink.  Then I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color it in.  Next I took some long neglected washi tape and added a few strips.  The colours I coloured my stamp match the colours of the tape. (I did that on purpose!).   Easy peasy card!

Well, I hope that you'll go check out the rest of the DT's work and don't forget to comment for a chance to win a prize!

Have an awesome day and thanks for popping by!

  7. Love the march of colors in the
    stripes. Seldom use washi but
    projects like yours makes me
realize I should use it more.
